How Much Should I Take?
The most popular suggested dose of sea moss is from 1-3 spoons a day. However, Dr. Sebi would always say ‘You can’t take too much sea moss’. If you are new and starting sea moss for the first time, be mindful that your body will react to the clean pure nutrients. So, start with 1 spoon and gradually move your doses as you see how you feel.
A 32oz jar will last you about 28 spoons or 28 days if you take 1 spoon per day. If your daily dose is 2 spoons per day then the jar will last you half that time.
How do I take care of my Sea Moss Gel?
Sea Moss Gel is a natural product. Keep your jar(s) refrigerated. If you purchase extra jars that you will not be consuming right away, keep them frozen until you are ready to consume.
How do I store extra jars?
If you purchase more than 1 jar and you are going to use 1 jar at the time, it is highly recommend you store the other jar(s) in your freezer. The glass jars we use are freezer safe.
A frozen jar will last up to a year in your freezer without losing its properties. To defrost or thaw your jar you can do two things: leave it on your counter overnight and it’ll be thawed and ready to consume the next day or move the jar from your freezer to the fridge and it will thaw in 3 - 4 days.
Once your frozen jar is thawed the shelf life of such jar will start. Now you have a few weeks to enjoy it.
*Note: Specifically for The Original SeaMoss, CinnaMoss, and ElderberryMoss without Honey Gels, when freezing please loosen the top to allow for natural expansion of the gel and prevent possible cracking of the jar.
What if my jar cracks in the freezer?
If your jar happens to crack while in the freezer, please let us know and send us a picture of the cracked jar. We will ship you a new one. This is our guarantee to you.
*Note: This is only for unused jars. Sending a photo of a 1/2 used or 1/4 used jar will void the promise.
